LIKE LITTLE CHILDREN - Hunger 4 Revival - HOPKINSVILLE, KY

A gathering of hungry disciples, pressing hard at any cost to go after Jesus Christ... The first night of an informal, relaxed, Holy Spirit-led weekend...  A word shared by a brother who spends much time prostrate before the LORD alone… a picture of knives of regret and pain being pulled from each person's back, one by one, by our Master’s hand…  The LORD Himself seemed to be expressing…  “All you’ve done, and all that’s been done to you – even though you’ve repented and been freed and healed and put it all behind you – tonight, it’s time for it all to just be swept away once and for all….”

Then, this….

… These boots of a small child, tossed carelessly aside, reiterate what the LORD just pointed out, “You need to go all the way back here.  Become like a little child, where all that stuff is gone.”

The next evening… another strong message preached by a brother about laying everything down and following Christ the way disciples in the Bible did…  Near the end, another brother got a word of exhortation to not be the “third ground” in Mark 4, where the thorns and thistles of this world’s cares, anxieties and distractions choke out the Word of God.  Everyone went forward in humility, desiring to just lay it all down and pray for each other to be focused on the Kingdom of God, not the kingdom of this earth…

In a very short time, several young children were weeping, repenting to God and asking parents and each other for forgiveness...  Such a beautiful continuation of what the LORD was revealing the previous day.

WE MUST BECOME LIKE LITTLE CHILDREN TO EVEN SEE GOD

FOR WHO HE TRULY IS!

WE SHOULD ALL FEEL SIN THIS DEEPLY!

WE SHOULD BE THIS CONVICTED TO GET RIGHT WITH THE LORD

AND WITH EACH OTHER!

At that time, Jesus declared, "I thank You Father, LORD of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and understanding, and revealed them to little children."  (Matthew 11:25)

Jesus said, "Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven." (Luke 18:16)

The Body of Christ is getting a radical realization of how HOLY and RIGHTEOUS and ALMIGHTY and POWERFUL and AWESOME and GLORIOUS and WORTHY God truly is.

Time and experience, religion and tradition, and the fear of man have dulled us down and robbed us of a greater depth of relationship with the LORD for some time.  The concept of weeping from the depth of our soul or dancing with all our might before the LORD seems foreign to an adult.  Why is this?  What have we lost in the mundane-ness of years of life on this earth?  And how do we get back to being that unabashed child, with soul bared before the LORD, zealously pouring out to Him at all times, whether it be in contrite brokenness or joyous abandon to just spend time with Him?

LORD, take us back!  Teach us YOUR WAY in this, along with everything else, Father!  We need YOU to redeem what’s been lost!  Make us more pleasing and glorifying to You!  Have YOUR WAY IN US so that You may get more and more glory, LORD God!!

HUNGRY FOR REVIVAL!

What might happen if we all simply come together to seek God's face?

What if we lay all our thoughts, plans, and preconceived notions down -

and just SEEK GOD, to LEARN OF HIM?

Here we find ourselves - a handful of Jesus' disciples, gathered from all over,

yearning to shed all pretense and hypocrisy - the dry bones of dead religion.

He has yielded our hearts and opened our hands, and given us a desperate desire

for all we think we know to be replaced by HIS WILL and HIS WAYS!

Each has heard the still-small voice of our Redeemer, to "COME FOLLOW ME..."

It is time to be RID of the dry bones of dead religion.

It is time to seek God's face, HOLDING NOTHING BACK,

to be taught of HIM - Who HE IS, and who we are IN HIM -

who HE created us to be, and what He created us to do.

We invite you to come along with us as we seek to follow the LORD's lead,

to HEAR and to DO of His good pleasure,

to answer His call to drop anything left in His way,

and to SEEK HIM WITH OUR WHOLE HEARTS!

God is ALIVE!  His Word is ALIVE!  His Holy Spirit is ALIVE!

And we, as members of His Body, were created to be ALIVE!

We are HUNGRY FOR REVIVAL!

STATEMENT OF FAITH

Hunger 4 Revival is a family of like‑minded believers and followers of Jesus Christ who refuse to be hearers only, but doers of the Word. We exist to pursue God wholeheartedly, to obey His voice, and to carry the fire of revival wherever He sends us.

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God — profitable for doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness — so that the people of God may be complete and thoroughly equipped for every good work.

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God — sent by the Father, revealed in the flesh, crucified for our sins, raised in power, ascended in glory, and returning for a people who are fully His. Everything He lived, died for, and conquered was to restore God’s children back to the Father’s heart.

We believe the call of Acts 2:38 still thunders today: “Repent and be baptized.”

We believe in water baptism by immersion, and we believe the promise that “you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”

We believe the Holy Spirit is our Helper and Comforter — the One who convicts, purifies, empowers, and points every heart toward Jesus. He equips us to walk in victory, holiness, and boldness in this generation.

We believe discipleship is more than learning — it is life shared.

It is walking with Jesus and walking with people, helping them grow, mature, and bear fruit as they learn to hear His voice and obey His ways.

We are called to bear “fruit worthy of repentance,” to walk in obedience, to pursue holiness because He is holy, and to finish our race with faithfulness, longing to hear the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”

We believe the Father’s heart is still pursuing the lost.

By His grace, we have watched Him restore what the locusts have eaten, heal the broken, lift the weary, and breathe life into those crushed by sin and circumstance. He is still the God who saves, delivers, and makes all things new.

We have laid everything down to follow Jesus. For a decade we have traveled the nation as a family, living by faith, carrying the Gospel, and pouring out our lives so the Kingdom of God can advance. Every mile, every stop, every story has been for His glory alone.

We go where He sends, speak what He says, and trust Him to lead every step. We have watched Him breathe life into dry bones, awaken hearts, and raise up a mighty army for His glory in these last days.

All glory, honor, and praise belong to God alone — forever.
