STATEMENT OF FAITH

Hunger 4 Revival is a group of like-minded believers in and followers of Jesus Christ committed to not only being hearers but also doers of God's Word. 

We believe the Bible is "given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work."

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God whom the Father sent, and whose birth, life, death, resurrection and ascension were to restore God's people to Himself.  

We believe Acts 2:38 that God's people are called to "repent and be baptized" (immersed) in water, and that they "shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit," who is our Helper and Comforter, who points us toward Jesus Christ, convicts us of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and strengthens and equips us to walk victoriously for God through Jesus Christ.  

We believe we are called not only to learn of God through His Word the Bible, but also to "bear fruits worthy of repentance."  Our goal is to, "Be holy, for He is holy," to listen to and obey His commands as He leads us through this life, and to finish strong and well, to prayerfully hear, "Well done, good and faithful servant," from the LORD when our time here is done.  

We each have a heart to be used by the LORD to seek and save His lost sheep, and by His grace, we've been seeing Him "restore what the locusts have eaten" in those who have been broken and battered by life.  

We have "sold all to follow Christ," seek to go wherever He leads us, and have been humbled and blessed to behold the LORD "breathing life into the valley of dry bones" as He is "raising up a great and mighty army" unto Himself!
